5 of my favorite White Paint Colors

It sounds easy, right? Who would’ve known getting into your painting project that there would be literally hundreds of white paint shades to choose from. I’m going to hopefully make it a little bit easier for you and share three of my favorite white paint colors today.

Ultra Pure White by Behr

If what you’re looking for is close to a true pure white paint color, you can’t go wrong with Ultra Pure White by Behr. I have personally used this in my own home. It’s great if you need to match it up with some true white furniture or finishes, and a great color to pair with bold bright furniture or decor.

Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore

For a warmer-toned white, one of my favorites is Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore. The color has a wonderful inviting feel, and is a beautiful in-between of greige and yellow. It can appear too yellow in some lighting-situations, so remember to always sample a paint color in a specific room first!

Snowbound by Sherwin-Williams

If you’re still seeking warmth but the previous color was a bit too yellow for your space, Snowbound by Sherwin-Williams is a wonderful option. This color has clean undertones and will appear more greige when paired with the right hues.

Super White by Benjamin Moore

For a cool-tone white, one of my favorites is Super White by Benjamin Moore. This looks great if you are trying match a white paint with blues. Be mindful that in a north-facing room, the cool tones will be amplified with this color. However, in a south-facing room, it will look softer and a warmer.

White Dove by Benjamin Moore

There’s a reason why this one is fan-favorite for many. It’s super versatile white paint color that is paired well among various interior design styles. With yellow and grey undertones, it’s a soft and creamy off-white that isn’t too warm. Keep in mind, however, that it may still appear too yellow when pairing it with cool-toned finishes or white appliances.

There ya are—five stunning paint colors that hopefully help narrow down your list of options. Always be mindful of the undertones of your furniture, finishes, art and trim when considering the right white paint color. And, as always, make sure to sample before you commit to painting the entire room!
